Mix a solution of equal parts vinegar and warm water , dampen the cloth with a solution of water / vinegar and a damp cloth dipped in a little ash ( that's right , the ash acts as a mild abrasive ) . Gently rub the glass clean . Finish by wiping the glass with a clean cloth and a little more than a solution of water / vinegar .
